Joan Metras grew up in Falmouth, MA. She attended Bridgewater State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Disorders from Worcester State College. After working many years in special education, she took her teaching to the classroom and achieved a Master of Elementary Education degree from Anna Maria College. She is a certified teacher of elementary education by the state of Massachusetts. She lives in Charlton with her husband, two dogs, one cat and many fish! She has two grown sons. When not at Trinity, she is a familiar face on the local stage, being a long-time member of Gateway Players Theater, Inc., in Southbridge, where she has also directed many youth productions. |
