Josie Citta was born and raised in Newburgh, New York. She graduated magnum cum laude from Mount St. Mary College of Newburgh in 1978. Mrs. Citta has a degree in History/Political Science with a concentration in Secondary Education. She graduated from Worcester State College with a Master of Education in 1986. Mrs. Citta was nominated for and accepted into the Who’s Who of American Teachers. Mrs. Citta is a former member of a History Honor Society called Phi Alpha Theta. She has served on a Teacher Advisory Board that had as its purpose the revamping of the Reading and Writing about History curriculum at Old Sturbridge Village.Mrs. Citta is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Nature's Classroom. |
