Ramona Pollone is a lifelong resident of Southbridge. She is a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College earning an associate’s degree in Early Childhood education with a strong concentration in Special Education. Nominated by her professors, Ramona was inducted into “Who’s Who in American Junior Colleges”. She is a cum laude graduate of Worcester State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders (hearing and speech difficulties) and a minor in Psychology. She has also completed various courses towards a Master’s Degree. Miss Pollone is certified in both Early Childhood Education (Pre-K through 3rd grade) and Special Education (Pre-K through 8th grade). Miss Pollone’s experience includes working with special education students in the Southbridge Public School System. She was the first pre-school teacher in Southbridge and worked for the public school until 1990. At that time she accepted the position at Trinity Catholic Academy to teach pre-school. Miss Pollone is in her nineteenth year as Trinity’s pre-school teacher. Ramona has also home schooled abused children (one family of four for three years) and has tutored for 20 years. Melissa Hilli is a life long resident of Southbridge. She attended college in Longmeadow, Massachusetts where she earned her under-graduate degree. She is active in the local business, church and school community. Melissa has been married to her husband Ted for 17 years and has two children currently attending Trinity Catholic Academy. Before Melissa became a permanent pre-school aide at Trinity in 2004 she was a substitute teacher for all grades. Mrs. Sharon Sabatinelli |
