PTO meeting was opened with a prayer by Mrs. Broulliard Treasurer’s report: $9,516.15 currently in the PTO account.
The Silent Auction summary: We all had a great night out and everyone who volunteered and everything that was donated was greatly appreciated. We raised $23,284.00 for Trinity! Great job Sherri and everyone who helped! Thank you. Teacher Appreciation is May 6th and there was an overwhelming response from parents to come in and volunteer that day. We hope it is a nice day for the teachers. The TCA Golf Tournament is coming up, Wed. May 13th. We encourage any level player to join in. There will be a Car given away for a hole-in-one on one hole. The DVD of the talent show is in for those who ordered them. See Sherri Hostage to see if there are any extras. Recipe Book update: We still have not received enough recipes to submit in to a book. We have tried to include St Mary’s Church with a display in the back of the church and message in the bulletin with only 3 recipes coming in. PTO funds were approved by the parents in attendance for PTO to pay for Field Day t-shirts and busses. Last day of school is June 17th, which is a ½ day with no transportation. A request was made for a possible Father/Daughter Dance next year at Trinity.
Next PTO meeting is May 27th. Please invite new parents and nominate your friends to be on the PTO Board next year.
